Everna-Fix Combination Car Seat - Night Blue The Goodbaby Everna-Fix combination seat is a grow-up seat designed to see your little one through from 9 months right up to 12 years of age, or whenever they outgrow the need for a booster. Blending functionality, style and comfort, this highly adaptable combination seat is both economical and practical, with super sturdy ISOFIX and top tether installation to ensure the safest possible connection to your vehicle. The Everna-Fix is fitted with a 5-point safety harness to use from 9 kg to 18 kg, before storing it away within the backrest of the seat and switching to the 3-point seat belt in your car for the rest of the seat's use. Reclining Headrest The Everna-Fix is fitted with a patented reclining headrest, which helps to position your child's head correctly and prevent their head and neck from tipping forward when sleeping. This is really important as the slight recline ensures your little one's head remains in the 'safety zone' (between the headrest) which is paramount to keeping them protected in the event of a collision, particularly side-impact accident. LSP System The Linear Side-Impact Protection System is an essential safety feature in the Everna-Fix. The LSP System folds out from the backrest on the side closest to the door, helping to absorb force away from your child in the event of a side-on collision before it even reaches the car seat's outer shell. The benefit of this system is undeniable, having been proven to reduce force exerted on your child by up to 25% compared to car seats without side-impact protection. ISOFIX & Top Tether Installation Installation of your Everna-Fix couldn't be easier, as the seat is fitted into your car with ISOFIX connectors and secured in place with a top tether to limit the chance of rotation in the event of a collision. Both the ISOFIX connectors and the top tether feature audible and visual guides to show you when you have both positioned the seat correctly and the ISOFIX connectors are secured into the anchorage points, and when the top tether is pulled tightly enough to provide proper stability. Comfortable Recline To accommodate sleeping babies and give older children a more comfortable riding position, the Everna-Fix features a generous recline that can be easily adjusted with one hand, leaving your other hand free for more important things. Reclining the seat for sleeping tots helps to ensure that their delicate head and neck area remains in the 'safety zone' and keeps them protected should you find yourself involved in a collision. Energy-Absorbing Shell Working in conjunction with the LSP System, the energy-absorbing shell adds an additional layer of protection between your little one and your car, reducing the amount of force that reaches them in the event on an accident by absorbing impact that reaches the seat's outer shell.
